Accelerator Training

Does your work in a municipal office include communications? If so, you might be thinking:

I want to protect my team from risk if something goes wrong.
I’m tired of being in react mode when another story hits the news.
I just don’t have the resources or the time to get on top of communications.
I really care about the residents here. I wish there was a way to show it better.

Communicating with residents can be messy, complicated and risky, especially when resources and budgets are tight.

We've got you covered.

Be proactive and plan ahead
Avoid pitfalls and misinformation
Choose the right tactics to engage citizens
Make sure your messages are well-timed, clear and effective

Who should attend
the Accelerator

Training Program?

Accelerator is designed to help people at the front lines of communication, whether you have a full-time communications coordinator or communications is one item on a long list shared between 1 or 2 people juggling multiple priorities.

MMAA members can earn 10 PD credits at every workshop.

We are thrilled to be partnering with the Manitoba Municipal Administrators' Association. They are offering PD credits for each session that you attend.

Learn from industry experts on how you can better plan for risk, listen to residents and how to plan ahead for challenging projects.
