Whether you have the word “facilitator” in your job title or not, you know that effective facilitation is about building dialogue to create positive outcomes. At Blueprint, we believe people come first. That means we practice human-centred design techniques at the core of what we do – and now we’re inviting you to join us inside Blueprint's Facilitation Community of Practice.
If you’re a capital “F” Facilitator or someone who has a natural talent for connecting people, you’re invited to connect with us.
Whether you are a facilitator with your own business, or someone who has been leading meetings inside your organization, we will give you the support you need to lead powerful and effective sessions.
We are community-centric, which means you get to learn from industry peers and practice your skills. And if you’re looking to work with Blueprint, it's the perfect way for you to get to know us and for us to get to know you.
As part of our community of practice, we'll let you know about facilitator meet ups and training opportunities where you can develop and practice new skills.
Blueprint Inc. is a full-service stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, facilitation, training, and communications firm that is committed to doing things differently.
To us, it’s about more than the work, it’s about the people. Like you, we understand that making good decisions and designing successful outcomes starts with considering how our choices will impact others.
We know the bottom line is important — we also know that valuing people is the surest way to achieve results that everyone can feel good about. We believe in putting people at the heart of every decision, making space for those hard conversations, and listening to both what is, and isn’t, being said.
Michelle Kuly, Principal, believes that work can be done differently. Her experience in public engagement, strategic planning and facilitation is the foundation of Blueprint Inc. Over the past 15 years she’s developed a deep understanding of the dynamics of engagement and strategy. Michelle is the founding chair of the Prairies Chapter of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2), and is a practicing member of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) and IAP2.
Our approach to facilitation is designed and guided by our values, baked into every part of what we do and how we do it. We won’t compromise our values for the sake of good work, and we know you won’t either.
Blueprint values the diversity of people we work with and serve and we’re committed to contributing to greater social equity. We create an environment where everyone, from any background can do their best work and we believe that when people feel respected and included, they can be more creative, innovative and successful.
We are a community of facilitators committed to continual improvement to our craft.
We believe in human-centred design, ensuring we always put people first.
We recognize the importance of design and an adaptive approach.
We host powerful meetings and hard conversations with productive outcomes.
